In a school of just over 550 students, we had over 100 Drama Club members last year!
How do you have so many people?
In Drama Club, everybody is a somebody and there is a place for you! There is way more to Drama Club than performing - there's also painting, wood working, electrical work, sewing, designing makeup, and so much more. Come be part of our family!
ABOUT Mrs. G
Mrs. Gonzalez is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, where she majored in Theatre Education with a Language Arts Endorsement for High School and Middle School. She had the pleasure of student teaching under the direction of Wendy Leveling at Parkway South Middle in Ballwin Missouri.
She was first bit by the theatre bug in 6th grade when she landed the role as "Narrator" in Into the Woods Jr. Since then, she's had the pleasure of performing in The Wizard of Oz, Grease, High School Musical the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, A Christmas Carol, Through the Pages, Inspecting Carol, Cinderella, Murder Me Always, Snoopy! The Musical, Into the Woods (again), Identity Powers, The Drowsy Chaperone, It's a Wonderful Life - The Live Radio Play, Big Fish The Musical, Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus - The Live Radio Play, and Beauty and the Beast.
In addition to performing on stage, Mrs. G has also worked professionally off stage as a Director, Stage Manager, Acting Coach, or as a Tech Crew/Designer. Those shows include: Shrek the Musical, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, The Drowsy Chaperone, Working the Musical, Aladdin Jr, Shrek the Musical Jr, Seussical Jr, Frozen Jr, Death by Dessert, Murder by Poe, Willy Wonka Jr., Annie Play Will Do, Back to the 80's, Game of Tiaras, The Little Mermaid Jr, Bright Star, Grease, John Lennon and Me, and Elf the Musical.
