Your 2024/2025 Officers

To become an officer of Thespian Troupe #6828, you must be in one of Mrs. G's classes, you must be an inducted Thespian, and you must fill out an application. There were many applicants, and it was a tough decision. Know that these officers are going to be a great representation of Drama Club!

Junior, Vice President

"Hello! My name is James Cooper and I will be serving as the president of the Drama Club this year. I have been involved in theatre all four years of high school, as well as taking one of Mrs. G's classes each year. My favorite part of theatre is getting to meet new people and act. Let's have a great year together!"

"Howdy! I am so excited to be your drama club vice president this year, I am lucky enough to have been involved with theatre since moving up to high school, and am so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community. I hope we have an amazing year together!"

Alex Schuenemeyer
Junior, Secretary

"I have been in drama club since my freshman year after joining Mrs. G's Intro to Theatre class, and I had only joined her class because my friends wanted to (I didn't actually have a passion for theatre myself). But, after being there for awhile, I began to find a true understanding and fascination with it, something that I never thought I would do. Of course, I wasn't crazy enough to jump right into it and start acting, nope. I stuck with crew and watched from the shadows, quietly mouthing the words to 'Hopelessly Devoted to You' and 'Greased Lightning'. I was only recently on stage for the first time in 'The Play That Goes Wrong'. Although I'm fairly new to being a more prominent figure in drama club because I was a bit shy about being in the spotlight, I've finally learned that the spotlight is what this is all about! It took me a long while to get out of my comfort zone, but I finally stepped out and learned to enjoy performing. It's a lot easier said than done, trust me, but it's possible, and I believe that there is a place for everyone in theatre, even you!"

"Hi! I'm Jadan and I will be the Webmaster for Drama Club this school year! I've been a member of theatre for all three years I've been in high school, and I'm so happy to be an officer for the fourth! Theatre has always been my home away from home. I know this year will be our best yet, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Sophomore, Officer-in-Training: Advocacy

"Hey there! I am so very honored to be a part of the drama club officers this year! This is going to be my second year in drama club and I am so excited for it. Drama club has already impacted my life so much in the first year and has pushed me to do things that I would have never done before. It has been a safe and welcoming environment and I hope that I can make it the same environment for you as well!"
